Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga is a form of excercise composed of body postures and controlled breathing tecniques that energize the body physically, mentally and spiritually. Historically, 'Hatha' is the physically-demanding side of Yoga and is the ÒYogaÓ that is most commonly known to us in the west (Thus its popularity.) Yoga has been used to lower blood pressure, reduce stress, and improve coordination, flexibility, concentration, sleep, and digestion. Students will learn to master the cirriculum of body postures to strengthen their bodies and achieve inner-peace.

Stretching Techniques

The process begins with the identification of the specific muscles and tissues to be stretched. Active Isolated stretching can increase tissue-joint movement and improve physiological function without the pain and injury potential that exists in many programs. Active Isolated Stretching is vital component of injury prevention, rehabilitation, sport training and performance, longevity enhancement and in general a healthier lifestyle.

Fertility Restoration Yoga

Fertility yoga is a specific type of yoga that focuses the postures and poses to directly aid the reproductive organs to help you conceive easier. It is designed for men and women. Fertility yoga can also help to reduce your stress while you are trying to conceive, which can be a big factor in delayed pregnancy or unexplained infertility. Students will learn Yoga postures for infertility (fertility poses) to spark hormone production, promote full body restoration, and increase circulation to reproductive organs to encourage responsiveness.

Tai Chi Chuan

Tai Chi Chuan is an ancient chinese exercise, practiced at a slow and even speed, which promotes relaxation, straight posture, and balance. In addition to improving all of the bodily functions and helping to prevent aging and disease, Tai Chi movements can calm the emotions and focus the mind, thus making it an excellent way to contribute to one's health and well-being. Students will learn the essential posture forms and fundamental principles Tai Chi movements.

"Mommy & Me" Yoga

This is a unique and fun Yoga class where moms (& dads) use their own children as resistance weight while they exercise. If the child is over 2 years old, they can practice the yoga together with their parents. It is a great workout, great fun and therapeutically beneficial to bind the relationship between the parent and their child.
